Daffy works as a roadie in a club where his favorite musicians perform.

One night, as his friends were performing, a group of mad haters, armed with lead pipes, started a rumble. He quickly ran to protect his friends. Just as someone was to strike, he got there just in time and fought the attackers off. His friends got away but he got beaten and a very bad blow to his neck seriously damaged his vocal chords. Luckily, he survived. But after that night, he lost his ability to speak.

Because of this, his friends came up with an idea. They created a tape of selected songs with very useful lyrics which, from then on, served as his voice.
